M husband has said he has seen an eagle. Not a buzzard. Any ideas?
Hello,
As you may already know, eagles of any species are rare in England. However, there's been an eagle reported in Shropshire recently, and eagles can escape from captivity occasionally, so not impossible. There's been a number of Red Kite sightings in the wider local area this year, including Wythall, but these are quite distinctive.
Why did he think it was an eagle rather than a Buzzard? Was this at Earlswood? Thanks.
Kind regards,
Matt
